📖 Scripture Reference: Romans 12:2
Introduction
The mind is the control center of life. The way you think determines the way you live. “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). Your mentality shapes your destiny, and no one ever arrives at a future they cannot see. That is why transformation begins with the renewal of the mind (Romans 12:2).
This week, we explore the mentalities that make Kingdom stewardship profitable. Today, we begin with the Sower’s Mentality.
We Must Possess a Sower’s Mentality
A sower is someone who understands the principle of sowing and reaping. In the Kingdom of God, stewardship is a seed, and every seed has a harvest. Jesus described the Kingdom as a field where seeds are sown, and in due time, the harvest comes (Mark 4:26-28).
What is a Sower’s Mentality?
A Sower’s Mentality is a mindset that sees every act of Kingdom service as an investment with guaranteed returns. It is the consciousness that nothing done for God is ever wasted.
Three Covenant Facts About the Sower’s Mentality
1️⃣ Kingdom Advancement and Soul Winning Are Recognized as Spiritual Seeds
- Every time you engage in soul-winning or invest in Kingdom growth, you are planting seeds for a glorious future (Matthew 6:9-10, 17-18; James 5:4).
2️⃣ While Seed Sown May Not Bring Forth Fruit Overnight, the Harvest is Sure
- Every farmer understands that there is a waiting period between sowing and reaping. Stewardship may seem slow in bringing results, but the reward is guaranteed (Genesis 8:22; Daniel 12:3; Mark 4:27-28).
3️⃣ A Sower’s Mentality Empowers One’s Steadfastness in Stewardship
- A farmer does not stop sowing just because the last harvest has not yet appeared. He keeps sowing because he knows the law of seedtime and harvest will never fail (1 Corinthians 15:58).
Application / Action Step
🔹 Approach every act of service in God’s Kingdom as seed sowing.
🔹 Commit to winning at least one soul this month as your spiritual seed for supernatural turnaround.
🔹 Remain steadfast, knowing that your labour in the Lord is not in vain.
Prayer Point
Heavenly Father, give me the grace to remain steadfast in Kingdom stewardship. Help me to see every act of service as a seed and to remain faithful in soul-winning. Let my harvest come speedily, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
