📖 Scripture Reference: Romans 12:2
Introduction
Mentality determines reality. If you do not think like a winner, you will never win. If you do not see yourself as a fruitful laborer in God’s vineyard, your stewardship will lack impact.
✅ As a man thinks in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7).
✅ No one ever arrives at a future they cannot see (Genesis 13:14-15).
This week, we are engaging the right biblical mindset for stewardship:
- Day 1: The Sower’s Mentality.
- Day 2: The Investor’s Mentality.
- Day 3: The Appointment Mentality.
- Day 4: The Partnership Mentality.
- Today: The Reward Mentality.
We Must Possess a Reward Mentality
A reward mentality is the understanding that every labour in God’s kingdom has a guaranteed reward. God is not a user of men; He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).
Three Covenant Facts About the Reward Mentality
1️⃣ God is a Rewarder of Those Who Diligently Serve Him
- Hard work produces results, and God acknowledges faithful labour (Proverbs 14:23).
- Stewardship in the Kingdom is not for fun—it is an investment with a guaranteed return (Hebrews 11:6).
2️⃣ God Rewards Individuals, Not Groups
- “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase… every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor” (1 Corinthians 3:6-8).
- “Behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be” (Revelation 22:12).
- Your personal engagement determines your personal reward. No one can serve God on your behalf!
3️⃣ God Honors Individuals, Not Groups
- In a multitude, there may be honor, but individuals stand out for recognition (Proverbs 14:28).
- “For them that honor Me, I will honor, and they that despise Me shall be lightly esteemed” (1 Samuel 2:30).
- The blind man in John 9:24-26 refused to be silenced—he testified and was honored by Christ.
Action Step
🔹 Serve God with the consciousness that your reward is sure.
🔹 Avoid the crowd mentality—engage personally and expect personal rewards.
🔹 Never compare yourself with others; stay faithful, and your honor will come.
Prayer Point
Father, thank You for being a faithful rewarder. I receive grace for tireless engagement in Kingdom advancement. Let my labour be fruitful and my rewards undeniable, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
Prophetic Blessing
📢 I decree over you: From today, your labour shall no longer be in vain! Your rewards shall be undeniable. Every effort you make for the Kingdom shall be supernaturally multiplied. May you be honored where others are ignored, and may God distinguish you with proofs! In Jesus’ mighty name!
