📖 Scripture Reference: Matthew 20:20-22
Introduction
God is a covenant-keeping Father, not a Father Christmas. His blessings are reserved for those who fulfill the conditions outlined in His Word (Psalm 89:34, Deuteronomy 28:1-2). Serving God is not just a privilege but a vital requirement for walking in the fullness of redemption (Matthew 6:33, Psalm 34:10).
This week, we continue to explore the truth that turnarounds in the Kingdom are not begged for but served into.
Three Kingdom Principles for Experiencing a Turnaround
1️⃣ We do not beg to have children in the Kingdom; we serve to be fruitful
• Fruitfulness is a covenant right of every believer who serves God.
• As we commit to Kingdom service, God ensures our supernatural fruitfulness (Exodus 23:25-26, Psalm 127:3).
• Barrenness can be terminated by serving God faithfully.
2️⃣ We do not cry to be healed; as we serve God, we are entitled to health and vitality
• Divine health is part of our Kingdom heritage. When we serve God, He purges us from sickness and keeps us strong (John 15:1-2, 2 Corinthians 5:20, Proverbs 13:17).
• Those engaged in active stewardship enjoy divine strength and vitality. We cannot serve God with our body and serve sickness at the same time but we understand our right as we serve God.
3️⃣ God is not looking for who to humiliate; He is looking for who to honour
• Serving God does not bring shame but honour (Proverbs 14:28, 1 Samuel 2:30).
• Every committed servant of God enjoys divine elevation and recognition.
Action Steps
