Introduction
The church is God’s ordained platform for salvation and spiritual establishment. Until souls are gathered into the church, their faith cannot be nurtured, and their salvation remains at risk.
🔹 The church is the city of the living God, where God works salvation on the earth – Hebrews 12:22-24; Psalm 74:12
🔹 Every harvest left on the field is at risk of being devoured – Matthew 12:30
🔹 The labourer is entitled to his reward only when the harvest reaches the storehouse – 2 Timothy 2:6
This week, we will examine why the ingathering of souls into the church is a vital kingdom responsibility.
For the Salvation of Souls
1️⃣ The Church is God’s Appointed Center for Salvation
📖 Hebrews 12:22-24; Psalm 74:12
🔹 The church is the city of the living God, where salvation is made manifest.
🔹 It is God’s ordained place for the preservation and establishment of the redeemed.
📌 Until a soul is brought into the church and established, the work of salvation is incomplete!
2️⃣ The Church is a Place of Spiritual Refreshing
📖 Psalm 65:4; Psalm 132:13-15
🔹 Psalm 65:4 – “Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.”
🔹 Psalm 132:13-15 – “For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation… I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.”
📌 The church is where God nourishes, strengthens, and empowers His people. Every believer must be rooted in a spiritual home for continuous growth.
Action Steps
✅ Be intentional about bringing souls to church for their salvation and establishment.
✅ Follow up on new converts and ensure they are planted in the house of God.
✅ Encourage new believers to stay committed to fellowship and discipleship.
✅ Recognize that soul ingathering is a vital kingdom responsibility, not an option.
Prayer Point
🙏 Father, in the name of Jesus, grant me the grace and passion to gather souls into Your house. Let none of my converts be lost, and establish them in Your kingdom, in Jesus’ name! Amen!
Prophetic Blessing
📢 I decree that your labour in soul ingathering shall be greatly rewarded! Every convert brought into the church through your efforts shall be established in the faith. You shall not lack your wages, and supernatural blessings shall follow you, in Jesus’ mighty name! Amen!
