📖 Scripture Reference: Hebrews 3:13; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11
Introduction
Subscribing to the demands of harvest is what makes farming profitable. No farmer enjoys the fruit of his labour until the harvest is gathered and stored. In the same way, souls must be brought into the church to be nurtured and established in the faith.
🔹 Proverbs 10:5 – A wise son gathers in the harvest, but a foolish one sleeps in the time of reaping.
🔹 Matthew 12:30 – Every soul left in the world is at risk of being devoured by the enemy.
🔹 2 Timothy 2:6 – Until the harvest is gathered into the storehouse, the laborer is not entitled to his reward.
This week, we are examining why soul-ingathering is a vital kingdom responsibility.
For the Sanctification of New Converts
1️⃣ The Church is God’s Sanctification Center
📖 Hebrews 3:13; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11
🔹 Hebrews 3:13 – “But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.”
🔹 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 – “And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”
📌 The church provides an environment of fellowship, accountability, and spiritual nourishment that helps new converts remain steadfast in the faith.
2️⃣ For Deliverance from Age-Long Challenges and Habits
📖 Hebrews 3:13; Hebrews 10:25
🔹 The company we keep determines what accompanies us. New converts must be surrounded by a godly atmosphere to be delivered from their past struggles.
🔹 Hebrews 10:25 – “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
📌 Many new believers struggle with old habits and negative influences. Staying in church provides the necessary strength and encouragement to overcome them.
3️⃣ Sanctification is the Pathway to Our Inheritance in Christ
📖 Acts 20:32; Obadiah 1:17
🔹 Acts 20:32 – “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”
🔹 Obadiah 1:17 – “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness, and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”
📌 Without sanctification, believers cannot access the fullness of their inheritance in Christ. The church is where we are built up to take delivery of our blessings.
Action Steps
✅ Follow up on new converts and encourage them to stay connected to the church.
✅ Ensure they participate in discipleship programs and spiritual growth classes.
✅ Pray for their sanctification and deliverance from every old habit or challenge.
✅ Remind them that fellowship with other believers strengthens their faith and walk with God.

🙏 Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive grace to be committed to the ingathering of souls. Let every new convert experience true deliverance and sanctification in Your house, in Jesus’ name! Amen!

📢 I decree that every new convert you bring to Christ shall be established in righteousness! No soul brought into the church through you shall be lost. God will use you to raise men and women of destiny, and your reward shall not be lost, in Jesus’ mighty name! Amen!
